Stretching Your Dollars with Stretched Canvas

This is a chimpanzee’s perspective that I am sharing here. While my daughter is a college graduate and is no longer living at home, Bow, who was cross-fostered with her, is still at home with me. I like to paint, and I always like sharing my paintings with Bow. When I showed him my latest painting of Dr. Ramani, here was his reaction.

He glanced at it briefly, but then he turned it over and spent a great deal of time inspecting the back. After that he rummaged in my fanny pack and took out a marker. Then, without even asking if he could, he set about doodling on the back of the canvas.

I had never realized before that the back of the canvas is also a canvas! Great ideas come from resourceful chimpanzees.
