What makes America the place to be
Is not the welfare state
It’s not that education’s free
Or banning speech you hate.
America is great because
There is a limit on the laws
And each is free to buy and own
To join a group or live alone.
What makes America the place to be
Is not the safety net.
When you are free no guarantee
Determines what you get.
America is great because
When Congress passes unjust laws
The Patriot’s right to arm and rise
Is sacred in the People’s eyes!
